What a booking system does

A booking system keeps track of appointments. Customers book themselves around the clock, the calendar updates, the reminder goes out and no slot is double-booked. That matters, and most booking systems do it well.

Saying anything else would be dishonest. The question isn't whether a booking system works. The question is how much of the week sits outside it.

What sits outside the calendar

Add up what an ordinary week actually consists of. Bookings are one part. The rest is customers to keep track of, a rota that has to add up, hours to report, payments to take, records to pass on to the accounts, contracts to find when something breaks, and customers to remind that it's time to come back.

The difference shows after the booking

A booking system hands over. The booking is made — and then something else takes over: the card terminal, the spreadsheet, the email tool, the ring binder. Every hand-over is a place where the same detail gets typed in again, and where a figure can go wrong without anyone noticing until month end.

In Bellebook it's the same record all the way through. The visit is paid at the checkout, the payment becomes a voucher, the day closes itself and the SIE file goes on to your accounting software. The customer gets the confirmation, the hours land on the right employee, and the next visit can be suggested without anyone looking anything up.

When everything sits in one place, an AI can genuinely help. Belle reads your own data — the calendar, the customers, the checkout, the contracts — and suggests the next step: the rebookings when someone falls ill, the warranty period when a machine breaks, the customers who used to come every six weeks and haven't been seen since the spring.

She writes the draft. You approve it. Nothing is sent without an explicit confirmation showing a preview and the number of recipients. Names are masked before anything reaches the AI provider, the data is held in Stockholm inside the EU, and GDPR export and deletion are built in.

When a booking system is enough

Sometimes it is. If all you need is a calendar customers can book in — no checkout, no staff to schedule, no contracts to keep track of — a booking system is the right tool and quicker to learn. Don't switch for the sake of switching.

And there are things Bellebook doesn't do. We don't do your whole bookkeeping: we build the records, but the bank connection, the VAT return and the annual accounts stay with your accounting software or your accountant. We're not a marketplace either, so we send no new customers to your calendar. That's a deliberate choice — no middlemen between you and your customers.

What it costs

1.99% per completed booking. Cancelled and rebooked appointments are never charged, and the checkout, card payments and Swish are included with no separate acquiring fee — if the customer pays with Klarna, 1% is added. If you sell something outside the booking — a product over the counter — it's 0.99% per card transaction. Never both fees on the same purchase.

Minimum charge SEK 399 per month, no binding period, and you can export your data whenever you like. It's yours.
