Valei is booking and till in one: SEK 300 a month for one practitioner, SEK 100 per extra user, and 1.5% on cards and Swish. Bellebook is bookings, customers, staff, till, contracts and payment in one — 1.99% per completed booking with the payment included, no monthly fee.

Where Valei is strong
Valei is the provider in this comparison closest to us in thinking: a booking system and a Swedish Tax Agency-approved till in the same subscription, control unit included, no set-up fee, no binding period and a three-month satisfaction guarantee. The prices are public: SEK 300 a month, SEK 100 per added user, cards and Swish 1.5%, Klarna 3%, SMS SEK 1, Fortnox or Hogia SEK 100 a month.
They have been around for seventeen years, have 5,300 customers, a journal, gift cards, multisite for chains and a support team their customers keep coming back to on their own site. Nobody should talk that away.
Where we differ
The difference is the breadth around the booking and the till, and what happens with the data once it lives in one place:
- Your own website is included in Bellebook. At Valei the booking page can serve as your website.
- Waitlist, classes and group activities, rentals and work orders are included with us. For Valei we do not find them documented.
- A staff register is included with us. At Valei a customer mentions it on the site, but it is not in the price list — so we make no claim.
- AI that works in your data is missing from Valei's column. Belle reads the calendar, the customers, the till and the contracts and prepares the next step.
- No per-user fees with us. Valei charges SEK 100 a month per added user.
The card fee, side by side
Valei: 1.5% on cards and Swish, 3% on Klarna, on top of SEK 300 a month. Bellebook: the payment with standard cards and Swish is included in the 1.99% on a booking, and 0.99% per card transaction on anything else you sell — never both on the same purchase. If the customer pays with Klarna, Amex, a foreign card or a corporate card, 1% is added.
Plainly: over the counter we are cheaper per transaction, 0.99 against 1.5 percent, and Swish is free with us. On a booking we charge 1.99% against their 1.5% — but then the subscription is gone: no monthly price, no user fees, only a floor of SEK 399 a month.
What we don't know — and how we correct it
The figures come from Valei's public pricing page in September 2026. Where we write that something is not documented it means we did not find it publicly — not that the feature is missing.

Who suits what
If you are one or two practitioners who want booking and till at a low fixed price, Valei is an honest option. If you want the whole business — staff, contracts, rentals, website and Belle — on the same data, and to pay for what you sell rather than per user, that is the deal Bellebook makes.
