Bellebook vs Zettle
Zettle is a till and card payments: 1.85% per transaction, no monthly fee and a card reader from SEK 249. Bellebook is bookings, customers, staff, till and payment in one — 1.99% per completed booking and 0.99% per card transaction on anything else you sell.

Where Zettle is strong
Zettle is easy to get started with: the app is free, there is no monthly fee and no binding period, the card reader costs from SEK 249 and the terminal from SEK 1,999. Swish costs SEK 0, an invoice SEK 10 and a payment link 2.5%. The brand is well known — it is PayPal's till — and for anyone who only needs to take payment over the counter it is a mature product.
The menu lists a certified cash register, and the pricing page mentions staff statistics and integrations for e-commerce and accounting. Which integrations, and whether the control unit is included, is not on the pricing page — so we make no claims about it.
What Zettle is not
Zettle is not a booking system. There is no calendar, no online booking, no waitlist, no classes, no rentals, no reminders and no website — the site does not mention appointment booking at all. Staff management is sales statistics, not schedules, timesheets or a staff register.
For a business that lives on bookings that means a booking system next to Zettle: two systems, two customer registers and a till that doesn't know what has been booked. That is exactly the seam Bellebook removes — the booking, the customer, the till and the payment are the same record.
Fee against fee
Zettle charges 1.85% on every card and mobile transaction, with no floor. Bellebook charges 1.99% per completed booking — and that includes the payment with standard cards and Swish, the calendar, the customer register and the reminder, not just the card swipe. On anything else you sell, such as products over the counter, the fee is 0.99% per card transaction; the two fees are never charged on the same purchase. If the customer pays with Klarna, Amex, a foreign card or a corporate card, 1% is added, and the minimum charge is SEK 399 per month.
Plainly: on a product over the counter we are cheaper per transaction, 0.99 against 1.85 percent. On a booking we charge more per krona, 1.99 against 1.85, but then the booking system, the website and the customer register are paid for in the same fee. Zettle has no floor; we have SEK 399 a month. Neither of us charges a monthly fee or a binding period.
What we don't know — and how we correct it
The figures come from Zettle's public pricing page in September 2026. Where we write that something is not documented it means we did not find it publicly — not that the feature is missing.
If Zettle thinks we have missed something or got a figure wrong, email info@belleminds.ai and we will update. The aim is a picture that is fair to the competitors too.
Who suits what
If you sell over the counter without bookings — a kiosk, a market stall, a café — Zettle is hard to beat on simplicity and price. If bookings are your business you need a booking system anyway, and then the question is whether the till should be a separate system next to it or the same thing as the booking. The latter is Bellebook.
